Per Diem Teacher Assistant - Campbell, California

What Youll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom environments
• Work directly with students 1:1 or in small groups as directed by teachers and staff
• Assist students with classroom participation, transitions, and daily routines
• Implement strategies from IEPs and behavior support plans
• Support mobility, supervision, and, when required, personal care
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years old
• Recent TB test (per district requirements)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and support lifting when needed
• Ability to meet or obtain all school compliance clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a plusbut not required
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative, student-centered attitude

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
