Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside teachers to support students in classroom activities and routines
• Offer targeted assistance to individuals or small groups as directed by school staff
• Help students with daily transitions, classroom participation, and engagement
• Follow behavior support plans and assist with implementing IEPs as directed
• Aid with supervision, safe mobility, and personal care needs when necessary
• Foster a respectful, inclusive atmosphere for all students

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• PEL license
• TB test (in accordance with district requirements)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current school clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Exposure to supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications are a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
