School Paraprofessional Subs Needed Flexible, Per Diem Opportunities

Spindle is seeking dedicated Instructional Aides to serve as substitute paraprofessionals, supporting students one-on-one in a dynamic school environment near California City, CA. This per diem, as-needed role is perfect for compassionate individuals who want flexible work while positively impacting students lives.

What You'll Do:

• Provide direct academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Work 1:1 with students or support small groups, as guided by teachers and school staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and encourage active classroom participation
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and IEPs, as applicable
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs when required
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• TB test clearance (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as part of job duties
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, though not required
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and teamwork skills
