Per Diem Paraprofessional in Burnsville, MN

Instructional Aide Substitute positions are now available for compassionate professionals who are eager to provide meaningful support to students. As an Instructional Aide Substitute, youll be an integral part of the classroom experience. Your day will involve working 1:1 or with small groups, supporting academic, behavioral, and social development under the guidance of teachers and school staff. Youll assist with daily routines, facilitate classroom transitions, and implement behavior support plans while upholding each students Individualized Education Program (IEP) as applicable. Supporting mobility, personal care, and supervision needs may also be a part of your responsibility, all while maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (required)

• At least 18 years old

• Current TB test (or willing to obtain prior to start)

• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed

• Must meet school district clearance requirements Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care

• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges

• Knowledge or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT (a plus, not required)
