Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social assistance in classroom settings
• Work 1:1 or in small groups under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and full classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all learners

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability and willingness to complete all school compliance requirements (e.g., TB test, background clearances)
• Capacity to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience engaging students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques (not required)
• A patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
