Per Diem Special Education Paraprofessional in Bothell, WA

Instructional Aide Substitutes are currently needed to support students 1:1 in a rewarding school-based environment near Bothell, WA. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 or small group support to students as assigned
• Assist students with classroom activities, daily routines, and transitions
• Support the implementation of behavior support plans and follow IEPs as directed
• Help with supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere in the classroom
• Collaborate with teaching staff to foster student participation and engagement

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• TB test and school district compliance (current or willing to complete)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with student lifting as necessary
• Background checks/clearances (must be current or in process before start)

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods is a plus, but not required
• Strong reliability, patience, and teamwork skills
