Per Diem Paraprofessional in Bothell, WA

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed for flexible, school-based opportunities supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Bothell, WA. In this role, youll:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver one-on-one or small group assistance as guided by educators and school staff
• Aid students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation in lessons
• Implement behavior intervention plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Support supervision, mobility, and personal care requirements
• Create and maintain a respectful, safe, and inclusive space for all learners

Requirements for working in schools include:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• A current TB test (as required by the district)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if necessary
• Current or attainable clearance/background checks before starting

Preferred background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience or training with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, though not required
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
