Per Diem Special Education Paraprofessional in Bothell, WA

What Youll Do:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students in the classroom
• Follow teacher and staff direction to assist individuals or small groups
• Aid students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Implement and adhere to behavior support plans and IEPs as applicable
• Provide supervision and help meet mobility or personal care needs
• Foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming learning environment

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district standards)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed
• Willing to obtain updated background clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certifications are a bonus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
