As an Instructional Aide, youll have opportunities to work one-on-one or with small groups, directly collaborating with teachers and school staff. Assignments are based on school coverage needs and shift availability, making this a perfect role for those seeking a flexible schedule while building valuable classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom environment
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by classroom staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow behavior support plans and implement IEPs where applicable
• Provide mobility assistance, supervise students, and support personal care needs as needed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
• TB test per school district regulations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• All required background clearances (current or willingness to obtain before starting)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required, but beneficial)
• Proven reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude
