Key Responsibilities

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small-group support as directed by educators and school staff
• Help students navigate daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow student IEPs as needed
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks
• Maintain safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environments

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a TB test (as required per district guidelines)
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Willingness to obtain or update school clearances as needed
  Preferred Experience
• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus but not required
• Patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
