Per Diem Teacher Assistant - Bothell, Washington

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with classroom participation, daily routines, and smooth transitions
• Offer 1:1 or small-group support under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Implement behavior plans and follow IEPs as instructed
• Support with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning atmosphere at all times

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test completed per district requirements
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods (a plus but not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
