Per Diem Teacher Aide | Bonsall, California

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as directed by educational staff
• Assist with classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions to maximize student success
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to student IEPs where applicable
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care needs as required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Support teachers in creating an effective learning environment for all students

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18
• Completion of TB testing per district standards
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Current compliance with background clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is valued but not required
• A patient, reliable, and collaborative approach to daily tasks
