Instructional Aides serve as essential classroom partners, providing vital one-on-one and small group support to students. Guided by teachers and school staff, youll assist with academic activities, daily routines, and transitions. If you enjoy working with children and want to support their academic and personal growth, this could be the perfect fit.
What Youll Do:
- Provide individualized or small-group academic, behavioral, and social support
- Implement behavior plans and follow IEP guidelines when applicable
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
- Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs for students as needed
Qualifications (School Compliance):
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 18 years old
- TB test clearance (per district requirements)
- Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
- Current clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work with children in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
- Experience supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (not required)
- Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
