As an Instructional Aide, youll play a vital role in the classroom, working alongside teachers and staff to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social support under teacher guidance
• Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and maintain active supervision throughout the day
• Help implement behavior support plans and individual education programs (IEPs)
• Support students mobility, personal care, and participation in classroom activities as needed
• Promote a positive, respectful, and encouraging atmosphere for diverse learners

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, at least 18 years of age
• Active PEL License (Paraprofessional Educator License)
• TB test as required by the district
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Ability to obtain up-to-date clearances prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in special education, behavioral health, classrooms, or child care settings
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT training (a plus, but not required)
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and teamwork skills
