Per Diem Paraeducator in Blue Springs, MO

Make a direct impact on students lives as an Instructional Aide Substitute! Flexible, per diem assignments allow you to work when it fits your schedule, all while supporting students in a school-based environment. This meaningful role provides one-on-one and small group assistance to students who need your patience, reliability, and compassion.

As an Instructional Aide Substitute, youll:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
• Offer direct 1:1 or small-group guidance, under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and adhere to IEPs as needed
• Support students with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks
• Help create a supportive, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

School compliance requires:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 18 years old
• TB test, as required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current or obtainable clearances before your start date

Preferred experience includes:

• Prior work in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, though not required
• A team-focused, patient, and reliable approach
