Instructional aides are needed to provide essential support for students, working flexibly on a per diem, as-needed schedule. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide both one-on-one and small-group academic, behavioral, and social assistance as directed by school staff
• Assist students during classroom activities, daily routines, and transitions to ensure full participation
• Support and reinforce the implementation of behavior support plans and IEPs where applicable
• Offer supervision, mobility help, and personal care support according to student needs
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• One of the following: active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certificate, or 36 college credits
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to meet district health requirements, including TB testing
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and help lift when necessary
• Willingness to obtain or update all necessary school clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience working in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare environment
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, including autism or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus, but not required
• Strong reliability, patience, and a collaborative outlook
