Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
• Provide 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Follow behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test (according to district policies)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials (a plus but not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
