Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Bellevue, Washington

What Youll Do:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially during classroom activities
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by teachers or school staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow students IEPs when applicable
• Support mobility needs, supervision, and assist with personal care as required
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• TB test in accordance with district guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials are a plus, but not required
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a team-first mentality
