Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support to students individually (1:1) or in small groups under the guidance of teachers
• Assist with classroom activities, daily routines, and classroom transitions
• Implement teacher-directed support plans, including behavior support and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Facilitate student participation, help with supervision, and support mobility or personal care requirements as needed
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as required
• Meet school compliance standards, including a TB test (per district), and obtain or provide current clearances before starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and team-focused attitude
