Per Diem Classroom Assistant | Bellevue, Washington

Instructional Aide substitute opportunities present a unique chance to support students throughout the school day while enjoying the flexibility that fits your schedule. As a per diem, as-needed position, youll have the ability to accept coverage shifts that align with your own availability.

What Youll Do:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially as directed by school staff
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group support tailored to classroom and student needs
• Help students with routines, transitions, and full participation throughout their school day
• Implement behavioral support plans and follow IEPs as assigned
• Provide support with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks where necessary
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• TB test (per school district requirements)
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, behavioral health, special education, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience a plus, but not required
• Dependable, collaborative, and patient with a passion for helping students
