As an Instructional Aide, you'll provide vital 1:1 support for students within classroom settings, making a significant difference every day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially in school environments
• Offer 1:1 or small-group support as directed by teachers and staff
• Help with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavioral support strategies and follow IEPs when relevant
• Support student supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful atmosphere for all learners

Requirements (School Compliance):

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test in line with district policies
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Previous experience supporting students with special needs (autism, behavioral challenges, etc.)
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (helpful but not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative attitude

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 to $28.00. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
