Key Responsibilities:

• Offer direct assistance to students individually or in small groups under teacher direction
• Support academic, behavioral, and social development in classroom settings
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Follow behavior support plans and individualized education programs (IEPs) as needed
• Assist with student mobility, supervision, and personal care
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (must be 18 or older)
• TB test in accordance with local district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Up-to-date school compliance clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environment
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT (a plus, but not required)
• Reliability, patience, and a team-focused mindset
