Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom and 1:1 or small group settings
• Assist with daily routines, classroom transitions, and active participation under teacher and staff direction
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to ensure student safety and engagement
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and safe learning environment conducive to student growth

Requirements for Compliance in School Settings:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Completion of TB test as required by the district
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain these prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is an advantage (not required)
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative mindset
