Per Diem Instructional Aide in Baldwin Park, CA

Youll provide essential 1:1 or small group support in classroom settings, helping students achieve academic, behavioral, and social milestones. Whether assisting with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation or implementing behavior plans, your contributions ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all.

What Youll Do:

• Offer hands-on, individualized support to students as directed by school staff
• Foster engagement and classroom participation
• Follow IEPs and assist with implementing behavior support plans
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere

Whats Required:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
• TB test in accordance with local district guidelines
• Capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Relevant clearances (current or willingness to obtain prior to start)

Preferred Experience:

• Work within schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (helpful but not required)
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative mindset
