Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students within classroom settings
• Offer 1:1 or small-group assistance based on teacher or staff direction
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs as required
• Assist with supervision, mobility, or personal care for students who need it
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to complete or present a TB test per school/district mandate
• Comfortable standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed
• Current background clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in educational, special needs, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT approaches (not mandatory)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach
