Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Deliver attentive 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students navigate daily routines, classroom transitions, and overall participation
• Follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and support behavior management strategies
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed for students
• Foster and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
