Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students during classroom activities
• Work one-on-one or with small groups, as directed by teachers and staff
• Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and encourage full participation
• Implement behavior support strategies and follow student IEPs where applicable
• Aid with supervision, mobility, and personal care, maintaining dignity and respect
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and safe learning environment

Essential Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Current TB test per district standards
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Willingness to secure school-required clearances before starting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in education, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting children with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT certification (not required, but a plus)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
