Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and educational staff
• Aid students with daily routines, transitions, and full classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs accurately
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• TB test in accordance with school requirements
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, patient, and brings a collaborative attitude
