Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students academically, socially, and behaviorally in the classroom
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group support, following teacher or staff direction
• Aid with classroom routines, participation, and smooth daily transitions
• Implement behavioral support plans and follow IEP guidelines as applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and certain personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Requirements for School Compliance:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Up-to-date TB test (as per district)
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting as needed
• Clearancescurrent or willing to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Prior support for students with autism, special needs, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus (not required)
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
