Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally within classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small group assistance as directed by educators
• Assist students with daily routines, engagement, and classroom transitions
• Implement behavioral support strategies and follow individual education plans (IEPs)
• Support student supervision, mobility, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Completion of a TB test (as per school district guidelines)
• Current background clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, child care, or behavioral health settings
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is valued, but not required
• Patience, reliability, and a collaborative approach
