As an Instructional Aide, you will have the rewarding opportunity to offer 1:1 and small-group support to students, helping them thrive academically, behaviorally, and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized or group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Support students through daily routines, classroom activities, and transitions
• Implement behavior support strategies and adhere to IEPs as required
• Assist students with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• One of the following: Active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or at least 36 college credits
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• TB test per school requirement
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Willingness to obtain and maintain current clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus (not required)
• Dependable, patient, and collaborative approach to teamwork
