Position Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom settings academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and encourage full participation in class
• Implement behavior plans and follow IEP guidelines where applicable
• Provide supervision and mobility support; offer personal care assistance as needed
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active ParaPro certification, Substitute Teaching certification, or at least 36 college credits
• At least 18 years old
• Willingness to provide a TB test as needed by the district
• Able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current or attainable school clearances before beginning work

Preferred Profile:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a bonus, but not required
• Dependable, patient, and ready to collaborate within a team
