Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Ann Arbor, MI

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed for per diem, school-based positions supporting students near Ann Arbor, MI. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom environments
• Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance under the direction of teaching staff
• Help students with routines, classroom transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs as directed
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care tasks as necessary
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and safe learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• TB test in accordance with district guidelines
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Background:

• Prior experience in a school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare setting
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus (not required)
• Demonstrated patience, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively
