What Youll Do:

• Assist classroom teachers by supporting lessons and reinforcing instructional goals.
• Work individually or with small groups of students, providing extra help where needed.
• Help maintain a safe, structured classroom and encourage positive behavior.
• Follow the guidance of classroom teachers, adapting to different routines and materials.
• Supervise students during transitions, meals, and other non-instructional times.
• Provide extra support to students with special needs, including implementation of IEP accommodations when necessary.
• Quickly adapt to new classroom environments, building rapport with students and staff.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; an associates degree or higher is a plus.
• Ability to pass required state background checks.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Flexibility to work independently and adapt to new environments.
• Reliable, prompt, and prepared to support students learning.
• Demonstrated patience and a passion for helping children succeed.

Preferred Background:

• Classroom or childcare experience.
• Experience supporting students with special needs.
• Familiarity with common classroom management techniques.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
