Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Anderson, California

Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to provide valuable 1:1 support to students in local schools on a flexible, per diem basis. These opportunities are designed for caring, patient individuals looking to positively influence learning in a structured school environment while enjoying the flexibility to choose assignments that align with their schedule. Shifts are on an as-needed basis and are ideal for those who want to work closely with students and experience the rewarding nature of school support roles.

What youll do:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Deliver personalized 1:1 or small group support as outlined by teachers or school personnel
• Foster successful participation by helping students with daily routines and transitions
• Carry out behavior support plans and follow IEPs when applicable
• Provide support for student mobility, supervision, and, if required, personal care needs
• Support and help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all

To work in schools, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Have a current TB test (as required by the district)
• Be able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Hold or be willing to obtain all required clearances prior to beginning work

Its a plus if you have:

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, including autism or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (not required)
• A reliable, flexible, and collaborative approach
