Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students individually or in small groups under teacher or staff direction
• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially
• Facilitate daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) where applicable
• Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care as needed
• Maintain safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environments

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Current TB test compliance (per school district requirements)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required clearances before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is advantageous but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
