Per Diem Paraprofessional in Anderson, CA

Instructional Aide Subs are needed to provide vital one-on-one support to students in a structured, school-based environment. These flexible, per diem opportunities are perfect for individuals passionate about helping children succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally. Youll play an impactful role assisting teachers and school staff, making a true difference in students daily lives.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students during classroom instruction
• Work one-on-one or in small groups, following teacher or staff direction
• Assist students with classroom routines, transitions, and participation
• Help implement behavior support plans and carry out IEP goals as directed
• Support mobility, oversight, and personal care needs in accordance with student plans
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere for all

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years old
• Completion of TB screening (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Up-to-date school-mandated clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in educational, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Exposure to working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus (not required)
• Strong reliability, patience, and ability to work well as part of a team
