Per Diem Paraprofessional in Anaheim, CA

What Youll Do:

• Provide direct support to students in classroom settings, following teachers and staff guidance
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, classroom participation, and mobility
• Implement behavior support plans and help meet the goals in students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Supervise and encourage positive, respectful classroom environments
• Support personal care needs and contribute to students overall well-being

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test (per district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current or obtainable school compliance clearances

Preferred Experience:

• Background in school settings, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Prior work with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPI, PMT, or as an RBT is a plus
• Patience, reliability, and a collaborative spirit
