Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Anaheim, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct academic, behavioral, and social assistance to students in the classroom
• Work one-on-one or in small groups under the guidance of teachers and school staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEPs where applicable
• Support students mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Willingness to complete a TB test, as required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and provide lifting support as needed
• Current school compliance clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, including autism or other behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of CPI, PMT, or RBT practices (helpful but not required)
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented attitude

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
