Per Diem Teacher Aide | Anaheim, California

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group assistance to students under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within the classroom
• Help students with classroom participation, daily routines, and transitions
• Assist with implementation of behavior support plans and individualized education programs (IEPs) as needed
• Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care where required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all

Essential Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Current TB test per school district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and physically assist with lifting if needed
• Clearances must be current or obtained prior to starting

Preferred Experience

• Prior work in a school, special education, behavioral health, or child care setting
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience is a plus (not required)
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and a collaborative spirit
