Per Diem Instructional Aide - Anaheim, CA

Instructional Aide substitutes are needed to provide vital support to students in a dynamic, school-based environment near Anaheim, CA. What Youll Do:

• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide 1:1 or small group support as directed by teachers and instructional staff
• Help students through daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans according to IEPs (if applicable)
• Supervise students and assist with mobility and personal care needs as required
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• TB test (per local school district requirements)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
• Current required clearances, or willingness to obtain before your first assignment

Preferred Experience:

• Past work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Direct support of students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methods (a plus, but not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
