Per Diem Instructional Assistant - Anaheim, CA

In this role, you will:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support as directed by school staff and teachers
• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Guide students through daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs when necessary
• Offer mobility, supervision, and, where required, personal care assistance
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Youll need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• To be at least 18 years old
• A current TB test (as required by district)
• The ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if needed
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred experience includes:

• Supporting children in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Working with students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required, but a plus)
• A patient, reliable, and collaborative approach
