Per Diem Special Education Paraprofessional in Anaheim, CA

As an Instructional Aide Substitute, youll play a vital role each day by:

• Assisting students academically, behaviorally, and socially in classroom settings
• Providing individualized or group support as directed by teachers and school staff
• Aiding students with daily routines, classroom participation, and transitions
• Following behavior support plans and implementing IEPs when needed
• Supporting mobility, supervision, and personal care requirements
• Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all students

Requirements for the role include:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to successfully pass a TB test (per district guidelines)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Willingness to complete all background and compliance clearances prior to starting

Preferred candidates will bring experience from school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings and may have supported students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges. Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques is a plus but not required. Above all, candidates should demonstrate reliability, patience, and a collaborative attitude.
