Instructional Aide Subs are needed to make a real difference in school communities near Anaheim, CA. As an Instructional Aide, your impact will be felt in classrooms every day, whether offering support to a single student or assisting small groups, and working alongside educators to create a positive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students in classroom settings
  • Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance under the guidance of teachers and staff
  • Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs) when required
  • Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming learning atmosphere

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to meet school compliance (TB test, background clearancesmust be current or obtained before starting)
  • Capable of standing, walking, and providing physical assistance as required

Preferred Experience:

  • Background working in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health
  • Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • CPI, PMT, or RBT training/experience a plus (not mandatory)
  • Reliable, team-minded, and patient approach
