What You'll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Assist learners 1:1 or in small groups, following teacher or school staff direction
• Help students with daily routines, transitions between activities, and classroom participation
• Follow behavior support plans and implement IEPs as needed
• Provide mobility assistance, supervision, and personal care when appropriate
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Age 18 or older
• TB test in accordance with district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as job duties require
• All required clearances and credentials current or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of CPI, PMT, or RBT methods a plus, but not required
• Reliability, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively
