School Paraprofessional Substitute Positions Flexible Per Diem Shifts

Responsibilities include:
Supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
Delivering individualized or small-group assistance under the direction of teachers and staff
Assisting students with daily routines, classroom participation, and smooth transitions
Helping implement behavioral support plans and following IEPs as needed
Facilitating student mobility, supervision, and assisting with personal care tasks
Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for everyone

To qualify for school compliance, youll need:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum age of 18
TB test clearance (in line with district requirements)
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
Current background clearances or willingness to obtain prior to starting

Preferred experience includes:
Work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
CPI, PMT, or RBT background (beneficial but not required)
Reliability, patience, and a collaborative mindset
