School-Based Paraprofessional Substitutes Needed Per Diem, Flexible Schedule

You'll deliver meaningful support and provide classroom continuityall while growing in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classroom settings
• Assist students 1:1 or in small groups as instructed by teachers or school staff
• Support daily routines, manage classroom participation, and assist in transitions
• Implement behavior support plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs) as assigned
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Current or willingness to obtain TB test (as per district guidelines)
• Clearance for work in schools or willingness to obtain prior to start date
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with occasional lifting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Knowledge of supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
