As an Instructional Aide substitute, youll step into the classroom to provide crucial 1:1 or small-group assistance, working closely with teachers and school staff to help students meet their academic, behavioral, and social goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings
• Assist students individually or in small groups, following teacher direction
• Aid with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation
• Implement and adhere to behavior support plans and IEP instructions
• Offer mobility, supervision, and, as needed, personal care support
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere

School Compliance Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age: 18 years
• TB test per district guidelines
• Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current background clearances (or willingness to obtain before start)

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT training is a bonus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
