Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer 1:1 educational and behavioral support to students, following plans from teachers and school staff
  • Assist with classroom activities, daily routines, and student transitions
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
  • Implement behavior management strategies and follow IEPs as directed
  • Provide support for student mobility and personal care needs when necessary
  • Supervise students and encourage their participation in all aspects of school life

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, and at least 18 years old
  • Completion of a TB test in accordance with school standards
  • Capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
  • Ability to pass all necessary background checks (or willingness to obtain clearances prior to starting)

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or related settings
  • Experience with students with special needs, autism spectrum conditions, or behavioral challenges
  • CPI, PMT, or RBT certification is valued, but not mandatory
  • Strong sense of reliability, patience, and effective teamwork
