What You'll Do:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support for students within classroom settings
• Work 1:1 or with small groups under the direction of teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Follow and implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• TB test in line with local district requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
• Current clearances (or willingness to obtain before starting work)

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or complex behaviors
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT strategies a plus (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
